Is it safe to pose them like this?

Absolutely, in the realm of newborn baby photography, the utmost priority rests upon the safety and comfort of your baby. This commitment forms the cornerstone of my approach. Diligently, I monitor their temperature, circulation, and overall ease throughout the session. Years of experience, combined with comprehensive training in handling newborns, underpin my expertise. The methods I employ mirror the natural positions your baby has been accustomed to within the confines of the mother’s womb for months. Rest assured, every action is meticulously executed to ensure your baby’s safety and comfort while capturing these fleeting moments

Who should I bring?

Although often referred to as ‘newborn baby photography,’ our goal extends beyond just capturing the newborn; we aim to encompass your entire family and loved ones within these enduring images. These photographs transcend the present moment, serving as cherished memories for years to come. Imagine your child growing curious about your appearance during their infancy. Embrace the inclusion of siblings, aunts, grandparents, and even your canine companion! Tailored to the baby’s sleep patterns, the session unfolds, typically commencing with family portraits, followed by sibling shots, culminating in exquisite baby portraits. For families with other children, post-sibling shots, a partner can take them for an enjoyable stroll. While my studio features toys, four hours can be quite lengthy for toddlers!

What if my toddler acts up on the day?

Anticipating the energetic nature of toddlers, my unwavering patience and genuine fondness for them create a harmonious atmosphere during our sessions. newborn baby photography brings its own unique delight. Older siblings often enthusiastically participate in the portraits, although a touch of hesitancy can emerge at times. Small children hold a special place in my heart, constituting my foremost passion. Their swift comfort in my presence, the studio setting, and my camera is heartwarming. This ease ensures they embrace the environment, readily sharing precious moments with their recently arrived baby sibling. From toddlers’ spirited charm to the newborn’s tender beginning, my photography embraces the beauty of familial connections.

What should I bring?

Prepare spare clothing for all participants, considering that newborn baby photography sessions can be a bit messy. While the focus of the mess is ideally limited to the babies’ needs, accidents can happen. Pack your regular baby outing essentials, though rest assured, I have duplicates of most necessities in case anything is overlooked. Feel free to bring along any special items that hold significance for you and your family, such as cherished teddy bears or beloved blankets. Your unique touches contribute to the personal and heartfelt nature of the images we’ll create together during the session.

How do we book?

To secure your session slot, I’ll send a 50% invoice for the newborn baby photography ‘bronze’ package. This is vital due to the fast pace of bookings. Once you finalise the session date post-birth, a second invoice will be issued for the final 50% of the bronze package, requiring payment before the session’s commencement.

What happens after the photoshoot

A couple of weeks after your photoshoot, I will visit you at your home to show you your gallery slideshow. We will view all the edited images and you can choose what you would like to do with them. You may choose 5 images or opt for more by upgrading. Our gallery viewing encompasses not only image choices but also showcases wall art, frames, books and print options. All decisions including upgrades and products choices occur at this Gallery viewing meeting. If possible, everyone who attended the photoshoot need to be at the gallery viewing meeting.
